Probuphine
Probuphine is an implantable form of buprenorphine, FDA approved for the treatment of opioid use disorder. Easily implanted beneath the skin of the inside arm, the four small rods provide a steady dose of medication lasting 6-months. Both Dr. Frost and Dr. Bobb are leading experts in Probuphine treatment having been involved in it's development as well as being two of only a select number of physicians in the U.S. to be approved by the FDA to act as trainers to teach other physicians the implant and removal procedures.

An internationally recognized expert in the field of addiction medicine, Dr. Frost is board certified in both addiction medicine and internal medicine. He completed his residency training at Drexel University College of Medicine and is a fellow of both The American College of Physicians and The American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is the Corporate Medical Advisor to Sunspire Health, a national network of addiction treatment facilities and is the former Medical Director of Eagleville Hospital in Norristown, PA. He conducts clinical research into new medications and has spoken before the FDA, Centers For Medicare/Medicaid, Members of Congress, and Health Canada on the subject of addictive disease. He lectures widely across North America, and has multiple academic publications. He is a Master Trainer for the Probuphine implant procedure and is involved in the development of advances in addiction treatment.
Trained in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Bobb specializes in addiction medicine. He is expert in the use of pharmacotherapies to treat substance use disorders and has directed methadone maintenance as well as buprenorphine programs. He maintains affiliations with Northwestern Human Services as well as Kirkbride Center where he is on staff. He is involved in clinical research and has been an investigator on several advanced therapies for opioid use disorder. He is experienced in the use of Probuphine implants to treat OUD and has served as an instructor for the procedure.
